Dear reader,

Welcome to the latest edition of the Aeres Training Centre International online magazine. We are excited to highlight the remarkable stories of our students and alumni, showcasing the profound impact of our educational programs on their lives and careers.

From Johnson Basangwa in Uganda, who expanded his poultry farm tenfold, to Gyenom "Gee" Dau in Nigeria, who founded a consultancy after his training, our alumni stories reflect the power of practical education. They illustrate how knowledge gained at Aeres is applied globally to enhance food production, foster sustainable practices, and drive economic growth.

Our commitment to international education is evident in our contribution to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. By empowering students from over 134 countries, we help foster sustainable food production, youth opportunities, and gender equality. Our international alumni network continues to grow, spreading knowledge and fostering innovation across the globe.

This edition also highlights the vital role of women in agriculture. Jeanette Uwera from Rwanda and Josphine Achieng Owino from Kenya, and Núria Vlonk exemplify how education empowers women, allowing them to contribute significantly to their sectors and advocate for gender equality.

We are proud of our 'learning by doing' approach, which equips our students with practical skills that make a tangible difference in their communities. This method turns theory into practice, ensuring our trainees are well-prepared to tackle real-world challenges.

Thank you for being part of our community. Together, we are making a difference in the world of agriculture.

Warm regards,
